Day 1

Elijah made it through his 1st surgery. I can’t put into words how amazing the team at Sinai Hospital are. Dr. Standard is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable Dr’s I have ever met. His surgery was a little longer than expected, but he made it through. Seeing the fixator took time to get use to. He seems to be better than Mom and Dad with it. He has had a few rough hours since being in his room keeping anything down so he is on a clear liquid diet until his stomach settles. We have pushed through day one, pray for a good night….Updates coming soon. Love you all. Shayne and TiffIMG_0048

  1. Praying right now in Jesus name. Lord, be with Shane and Tiffany, but especially Elijah. Be with him and heal his body. Thank you Jesus, Amen

  2. Last night at prayer time, I explained to Jake that E had had surgery on his leg and we needed to pray for him to be strong and to get well soon. He gave me a look of shock and asked if E was able to play and swim. I said no. He starts to cry and asked Jesus to make E better now because the swimming pool was nice and if his leg was “surgeried” he couldn’t go swim and E would be sad.
I too am praying for a recovery that is smooth, endurance, and patience filled! That the Lord will be glorified and every single person that comes in contact w you will feel Gods presence!

  3. We’ve been praying for that boy and you all. So glad he’s in good hands….he’s in GOD hands! My phone is now a dumb phone so I’ll have to keep up in the evenings when I get home…
Hope today was a good day! Hugs to you all…
